Rooted in Liberia. Driven by Possibility.
LIPACE is a Liberian-led organization working with communities to expand access to quality learning, strengthen livelihoods, and contribute to stronger education systems.

Building Pathways to Learning and Opportunity
LIPACE works alongside communities to address barriers to education and economic opportunity, with a particular focus on people and communities that are often underserved. Our work spans foundational learning and inclusive education, skills and livelihoods, and efforts to strengthen education systems and policy.
We bring together local knowledge, evidence, and partnership to develop practical solutions that respond to people's realities. From helping children build foundational skills to supporting livelihoods and strengthening education systems, our goal is not simply to deliver programs, but to create pathways for people and communities to thrive.
Working in 7 counties
LIPACE's work reaches across Liberia, from rural classrooms to county hubs, bringing learning and opportunity closer to the communities who need it most.
The Question That Changed Our Course
LIPACE began with a personal experience and a growing conviction about what it takes to build a stronger Liberia. Our founder initially pursued Civil Engineering with a simple belief: after years of conflict, Liberia needed roads, bridges, and infrastructure to rebuild. But an experience during his final years at university, one that delayed his graduation and left him disconnected from learning, changed the way he thought about education and development.
It raised a deeper question: How could an institution designed to develop young people leave them feeling disconnected from learning?
That experience led to an important realization. Rebuilding Liberia's physical infrastructure mattered, but so did rebuilding its human capacity. Without educated and empowered people to lead institutions, solve problems, and create opportunities, lasting development would remain difficult.
That conviction gave birth to LIPACE. Our early work focused on helping students improve their academic performance, but experience soon taught us another lesson: transforming individual lives was not enough. We needed to understand why challenges persisted, use evidence to identify what worked, and help create solutions that could reach more people and strengthen the systems around them.
That journey continues today. LIPACE has grown from its early focus on student achievement into an organization working across learning, livelihoods, communities, and education systems, while continuing to ask the question that has shaped our journey from the beginning:
What will it take to create opportunities that truly last?

We use evidence, reflection, and experience to continuously learn, adapt, and find better ways to create lasting impact.
Building for What Comes Next
LIPACE's journey continues. Guided by our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, we are working toward a future where successful programs do more than deliver short-term results: they help build stronger communities, institutions, and systems that can sustain opportunity over time.
At the heart of this vision is the Achievement Hub, our long-term ambition to create a permanent, community-rooted platform that brings learning, skills development, innovation, and economic opportunity closer to the people we serve.
The first Achievement Hub is envisioned for Kakata, Margibi County, creating a space where children, young people, women, community leaders, and partners can learn, connect, build skills, and develop locally driven solutions.
Be Part of What Comes Next
Our story continues through the communities, people, and partners who share our belief that lasting change is built together.
