Policy Advocacy Engagement

Building on the EU-funded Supporting Effective Advocacy in Liberia program, LIPACE has continued its advocacy with the Ministry of Education to operationalize the Center of Excellence for Teacher Licensing, Certification, and School Accreditation, as outlined in the 2011 Education Reform Act.

This advocacy achieved a major milestone with the Ministry’s launch of the National Policy for Teachers’ Licensing and School Accreditation in Liberia. This policy lays the groundwork for a structured licensing system, marking a historic advancement in Liberia’s education sector.
